The 3T MRI sytem provides the highest resolution images for more accurate interpretations and has a larger opening for greater patient comfort.   • Three-year accreditation awarded for breast MRI

Rhode Island Medical Imaging has been awarded a three-year term of accreditation in breast magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) as the result of a recent review by the American College of Radiology (ACR). MRI of the breast offers valuable information about many breast conditions that may not be obtained by other imaging modalities, such as mammography or ultrasound.   • MR Arthrography is now available at our Lincoln office

RIMI is pleased to announce that MR Arthrography is now available at our Lincoln office. This procedure will be performed by one of our musculoskeletal subspecialty-trained radiologists. An Arthrogram requires an injection of a contrast agent into a specific joint space followed by an MRI. For more information please call 401.432.2400
