RIMI Radiologists

RIMI radiologists are highly trained physicians who are able to look at complex images of the inside of your body and detect what is causing your symptoms.  RIMI radiologists are the physicians who actually DIAGNOSE the cause of your symptoms, which in turn, provides your team of physicians the information that will help them determine how best to TREAT you.

RIMI radiologists are different in that they all have received extra training in special areas; for example, a brain MRI will be read by a neuro-radiologist, a mammogram will be read by a woman’s imager, and a sports injury will be read by a musculoskeletal radiologist.  RIMI’s breadth of sub-specialty expertise is unmatched in the state of Rhode Island.

Our physicians have also been entrusted to train the next generation of radiologists as faculty members of The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University.  Moreover, RIMI radiologists are leaders in imaging research, many of them present at conferences throughout the United States and worldwide.  RIMI radiologists are very active in the development of radiology of the future.

When your health depends upon the quality of medical imaging, you can be confident in our team of highly trained doctors whose diagnosis directly impact the treatment options offered by your team of physicians.
