Chief Marketing Officer

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Executive Director and working closely with physician leadership, the Chief Marketing Officer plans and manages the execution of marketing, communication and business development activities to exceed revenue and gross margin objectives. Identifies growth opportunities within local and regional practices, hospitals and health care systems. Directs the activities of marketing associates to execute strategic account plans that will deliver consistent revenue, margin and referral growth. Plays an active role in account management and business development efforts with team, engaging customers and both modeling and teaching desired behaviors. Partners with operations to resolve customer service issues and ensure both high quality service and ongoing growth. Engages with governmental, business, community and other decision makers on relevant healthcare policy issues. Monday - Friday 8:00-4:30 ( Hours May Vary)

Job Responsibilities

• Drives results by collaborating with operations counterparts to build market growth plans and by working across business units, leadership and marketing teams to set goals and develop forecasts for each territory.
• Assists in development and implementation of all promotional activities including media buys and creation of content. Engages cross functionally to ensure awareness and alignment of efforts.
• Monitors competitors, industry, and trends to develop marketing plans accordingly. Analyzes input from various sources to create new initiatives. Develops appropriate business plans for new initiatives addressing market entry strategy, financial analysis and projected costs, timelines and necessary resources.
• Must be an expert in local market dynamics (including payer issues, state and government regulations, provider payment issues, etc.) and clinically in diagnostic imaging services. Coaches and develops team to a high level of competency in these areas.

• Monitors marketing associate team activity to ensure appropriate focus on priority growth targets identified by management/analytics. Helps prioritize time to focus on greatest opportunities for growth.
• As a member of the senior management team, participates in strategic planning, development of short- and long-term goals for the group.  Participates in inter-disciplinary team meetings, committees and/or other activities, in working toward group goals. 

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required, advanced degree or MBA preferred.  Ten plus years direct to physician and consumer marketing experience, preferably in an outpatient services environment. Understanding of public relations & business communications, and customer service required.  Supervisory experience to select, develop and motivate staff.

Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients who may be under physical and/or emotional stress, referring physicians and staff, the radiologist, fellow employees, supplier and service representatives and any and all others who they come in contact with during the course of the business day.

Organizational skills as required by the position.

Analytical skills to compile and interpret data.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills necessary to provide proper patient care.

Demonstrated knowledge and skills to perform exams as outlined by governing bodies and RIMI protocol.

Must Be: Graduate of accredited US program plus 2 year's experience; Certified in Breast Imaging; RDMS & RVT registered within one year; bilingual preferred (Spanish/Portuguese)

Obtain and maintain additional accreditation and./or certification(s) required by the State, Federal Government and RIMI within areas of expertise; Must be registered in ultrasound by the ARDMS in at least one application. Must be registered in Vascular Technology. Sonographers have one year from the date of hire or the date they complete their accredited ultrasound program to become registered; Experience in Abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and Vascular Ultrasound is required; Registered in Breast Ultrasound is a plus; Must be current with all CME requirements.
