Sonographer (Breast Imaging) - Part Time

Job Requirements

Must Be: Graduate of accredited US program plus 2 year's experience; Certified in Breast Imaging; RDMS & RVT registered within one year; bilingual preferred (Spanish/Portuguese)

Obtain and maintain additional accreditation and./or certification(s) required by the State, Federal Government and RIMI within areas of expertise; Must be registered in ultrasound by the ARDMS in at least one application. Must be registered in Vascular Technology. Sonographers have one year from the date of hire or the date they complete their accredited ultrasound program to become registered; Experience in Abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts and Vascular Ultrasound is required; Registered in Breast Ultrasound is a plus; Must be current with all CME requirements.

On behalf of the Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH)’s Women’s Cancer Screening Program (WCSP), Governor Gina M. Raimondo accepted a $10,000 check today from Rhode Island Medical Imaging to expand financial assistance for access to breast screening and follow-up services for low-income women in Rhode Island.
