Brian Murphy, M.D.

Brown University School of Medicine
Dr. Murphy completed medical school at Queens University School of Medicine in Belfast, Ireland and went on to complete his diagnostic radiology residency at St. Vincent's Hospital, Dublin under the auspices of the Faculty of Radiology of the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
Following residency Dr. Murphy completed a two-year abdominal imaging and interventional radiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School and was an attending on the faculty of MGH/Harvard for three years following this.
Dr. Murphy is board certified in radiology in the US, the UK and in Ireland. His special interests are in body imaging, genitourinary imaging, abdominal interventional radiology, intravenous contrast and fluorosocopy. He is a clinical associate professor at The Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and is director of the department of fluoroscopy at Rhode Island Hospital
